Caprock Alliance for Mental Wellness provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication or supplement recommendations. We also provide supportive therapy and can make recommendations for a therapist for more intensive therapy. Our providers have the ability to collaborate with other specialists as needed.
Evaluations can include the following:
- patient’s full medical history, including seizures, migraines, or concussions/head injuries,
- medications you are currently taking and medications that you have taken in the past,
- questionnaires,
- family medical history,
- symptoms you are currently having,
- past or current emotional trauma,
- misuse or addiction to any prescribed or unprescribed substances, including alcohol
Our providers are skilled and trained to evaluate all mental health disorders, including any potential dual diagnoses. A dual diagnosis is defined when a person experiences a mental health disorder and a substance abuse problem simultaneously.
